Alisha Lineswala joined the Consumer Voice in July 2016 and currently serves as the Public Policy and Program Specialist. In her role, she is responsible for providing technical assistance, conducting research and analysis, writing issue briefs and white papers, creating advocacy and education materials, consulting with consumers and advocates on relevant issues, and supporting all staff in implementing the Consumer Voice’s public policy and advocacy agenda. Alisha came to the Consumer Voice as a legal intern and also served as a Public Policy and Program Consultant. Prior to joining the Consumer Voice, she worked as a legal intern for the Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of General Counsel, Torts Division & Office of Quality, Safety, and Value, Risk Management Division) and Department of Health and Human Services (Office of General Counsel, Public Health Division), where she gained exposure to a variety of veterans’ and public health law issues that sparked her interest in advocating for quality care. Alisha graduated in May 2015 from Saint Louis University School of Law with a juris doctor and concentration in health law. Alisha is licensed in Maryland.
