“What does the resident want?” LTCOP Lanyards (Set of 10)

This lanyard is a visual reminder that the foundation of all Ombudsman program work is resident-directed, to the fullest extent possible. We borrowed this lanyard design from the Georgia Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. The GA program uses lanyards with this question in honor of Barbara Fraser. For more than 15 years, Barbara served with distinction in a variety of roles with the program and was a well-loved trainer. When Ombudsman representatives would contact the state Office for advice, to ensure the problem-solving process was resident-directed, Barbara would always ask, “what does the resident want?”
