The National Citizens’ Coalition for Nursing Home Reform (NCCNHR) was founded by Elma Holder as a “united consumer voice” for individuals living in nursing homes. NCCNHR served as the primary organization on the national level dedicated solely to advocating on behalf of nursing home residents and bringing together groups across the nation seeking to make quality care in nursing homes a reality.
