Visit Baltimore, Charm City

Baltimore is where art lovers, history buffs, sports fanatics, and foodies can come together to enjoy authentic experiences - whether that means exploring the diverse array of culinary options, uncovering the cutting-edge history of its most storied neighborhoods, or getting out on the water.  Baltimore is a vibrant city where you can see the largest public collection of Matisse in the world (for free!), sip a craft beer in the sanctuary of a converted church, or explore the neighborhood that was the inspiration for John Waters' iconic film, Hairspray. Learn more about all Baltimore has to offer.

We hope you'll join us in exciting Charm City!

Hotel Information

The Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is directly next to Oriole Stadium at Camden Yards.  The expansive hotel, renovated in 2019, features an on-site bar/restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Jimmy John's located inside the hotel; and easy walking access to several nearby restaurants.  Enjoy complimentary high-speed wifi in guest rooms, a large fitness center with views of Camden Yards, and heated indoor pool.

Conference attendees must make their own hotel room reservations (Consumer Voice will not make reservations for you).  A room block has been reserved at the conference hotel at the rate of $199/night (plus taxes and fees) from Saturday, October 28 - Thursday, November 9, 2023. Rooms are available at this rate until Friday, October 6, 2023 or until the block is full, whichever happens first. Reserve your room.

Call for Proposals

We are looking for proposals that...
Create an engaging, informative conference agenda that provides resources, tools, opportunities for discussion, and strategies our attendees can incorporate in their life and/or advocacy. Proposals should include:

  • Concrete advocacy strategies,
  • Examples of advocacy and/or educational programs for individuals or systems advocacy,
  • Issues related to nursing homes, assisted living, and/or home and community-based services,
  • Opportunities for discussion, questions, and/or sharing of advocacy successes and challenges related to the topic, and
  • Information attendees can use in their daily life or work to improve the quality of long-term care.

Two easy steps to submit a proposal:

  1. Review the Call for Proposals and Presenter Requirements.

  2. Submit your proposal via Survey Monkey. NOTE: You will not be able to save incomplete submissions in SurveyMonkey, so you may want to review and print or save the PDF version of the proposal questions so you can plan your responses prior to starting the submission.

Proposals are due by June 2, 2023. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered.
