To preserve the Consumer Voice’s independence and freedom to act, the following codifies the policy with regard to sources of financial support:
The Consumer Voice does not accept financial support from the nursing home provider industry or any foundation closely associated with such industry. Compensation from the above entities may be accepted in the following limited circumstances: purchase of Consumer Voice publications and products, (non-voting) membership dues, annual meeting or other conference registration and reimbursement of expenses for meeting participation and the like.
