Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policies for 2021 Consumer Voice Conference

Please keep the following payment and cancellation policies in mind when completing the registration process for the 2021 Consumer Voice Conference. By completing a registration or submitting a registration order, you confirm your consent with these policies. 

Payments

• Registrations are made via credit card using the Accelevents registration form.
• An option to pay by check is available by completing the online registration and using the discount code: PAYBYCHECK.
  • You must still complete the online registration form for all conference attendees in order to pay by check.
  • Those paying by check must promptly print, sign and return the email receipt with your check to Consumer Voice, Attn: Annual Conference, 1025 Connecticut Ave. NW, Ste. 1000, Washington, DC 20036.  
  • Check payments must be sent immediately after registering; all payments must be received by the start of the conference.  
  • Invoices are available by request; email aona@theconsumervoice.org.
• Each conference ticket permits one individual to access the conference event hub, view live and recorded sessions, and use networking tools.
  • Only one user per email address may be logged into the conference event hub at a time; one email address cannot be used simultaneously on multiple devices.
  • Conference attendees will have access to the conference event hub for 30 days after the end of the conference.

Cancellations and Refunds

• Payments for add-ons are nonrefundable.
• All cancellation requests for registration must be made in writing to aona@theconsumervoice.org. A refund, minus a $100.00 processing fee, will be made for each request dated prior to November 1, 2021. No registration refunds will be issued after November 1st.
• Refunds will not be given for no-shows.
• The conference registration fee will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation of the meeting by Consumer Voice due to circumstances beyond the control of Consumer Voice.

Disclaimer of Liability

Consumer Voice and its staff, board, and sponsors accept no liability for the acts of any suppliers to this Conference. Consumer Voice reserves the right to cancel this function without liability. Consumer Voice reserves the right to admit and the right to exclude any person from the Conference, or refuse service to any attendee, at the sole discretion of Consumer Voice. Furthermore, Consumer Voice is under no obligation to provide an explanation for its actions, but may do so at its own discretion.

Release for Use of Photographs and Recordings

By registering as an attendee of the 2021 Consumer Voice Conference, you hereby grant Consumer Voice the right and permission to use, publish and republish photographs, video or audio of you or images in which you may be included, in whole, part or composite, in any printed or electronic matter or media for any legal purpose; and to use your name in conjunction if Consumer Voice so chooses. By registering for the conference you discharge Consumer Voice from any and all claims and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use of photographs, images or information.
